Trees, along with Seeds and Animals, are the primary way to collect coins in FarmVille. Trees can be placed anywhere on a farmer's property, and must be and allowed to ripen before harvesting for coins. Unlike seeds, trees never spoil.

Trees are either level 1 or level 2. Putting a level 1 tree in an orchard will produce a Mystery Seedling that will turn into the corresponding level 2 tree. A mystery seedling from a neighbour will also produce a level 2 tree. Level 2 trees are also available in the market for Farm Cash.
