FarmViller.com is a wiki style website dedicated to the Facebook game FarmVille by Zynga Game Network Inc. FarmViller.com is in no way associated with Zynga or FarmVille.

FarmViller.com uses the same MediaWiki platform used by Wikipedia. This means anyone may register and make changes to the majority of the pages found here. Whether you fix a spelling mistake or create an entirely new article, all edits are welcome big or small. The site was initialy started and hosted by Elias, but nearly all content has been added by visitors like yourself.

Fan Page Commenting Rules

Due to abuse, it has become necessary to define rules for commenting on the fan page. Violating these rules will result in the comment being deleted, the commenter being banned from the fan page without warning, and the commenter reported to Facebook. These rules apply to posts made by fans on the fan page wall, and to all comments made to wall postings. These rules DO NOT apply to the fan page discussion area. Please understand that these rules are in place to encourage relevant conversations and are in no way intended to censor our users.

• No Game links of any kind may be posted
  • This includes all add me and gifting related links.
• No neighbor or item requests may be posted
  • You are welcome to make these requests in the fan page discussion area.
• No complaints about farm cash may be posted
  • Specifically, no complaints about an item being available only for farm cash and not coins. This rule was put in place because people felt the need to make this complaint about every single farm cash related update posted to the wall. These complaints were discouraging other relevant comments. FarmViller.com is not associated with Zynga, therefor this is not the place to make these types of complaints.

• Removed option for users to select different skins

Used MediaWiki parameters $wgAllowUserSkin, $wgSkipSkins, and $wgAllowUserCss

• Moved site to new server within same host in an effort to alleviate '500 Internal Server Error' messages.
• Enabled MediaWiki file caching

Further efforts to relieve server load. All normal pages are cached. Server will serve cached version until an edit is made.

• Installed Extension:Purge.

Allows you to add '&action=purge' to any url to bypass the cache and load data from the database.
